Privacy Policy

Lambda Lingua (“the app”, “we”) is a language-learning app for iOS and Android. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. Questions: lambdalingua@gmail.com.
Data stored on your device
Your flashcards, learning progress and settings are stored locally on your device. We don’t need an account to use the app, and this data isn’t uploaded to us.
Feedback you send us
When you use the in-app feedback screen to report a bug, flag a wrong translation or suggest a feature, we receive your message and — to help us reproduce the issue — basic technical context: app version, platform, interface language and the course you’re studying. If you choose to add an email address, we use it only to reply to you.
AI-powered features
Reading/listening generation, translation and writing feedback work by sending the text you submit to third-party AI providers that process the request and return a result. Please don’t put sensitive personal information into those inputs.
Diagnostics
We use crash- and stability-reporting (Firebase Crashlytics) to collect crash logs and basic technical information about the device and app. This helps us find and fix problems.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by the Apple App Store and Google Play. We don’t receive or store your payment card details.
Abuse prevention
To protect our service from abuse, the app verifies that requests come from a genuine, unmodified app using Apple App Attest and Google Play Integrity.
Third parties
We rely on Apple, Google (Google Play, Firebase/Crashlytics), our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and AI/translation providers to deliver the features above. We do not sell your personal data.
Children
The app is not directed to children under the age of digital consent in their country. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your choices
You can request access to, or deletion of, any data associated with your feedback by emailing lambdalingua@gmail.com. You can clear on-device data by deleting the app.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
